Our Curriculum-Playing to Learn
Playing to learn is a research-based curriculum that is based on the philosophy that young children learn best through play. Throughout the preschool years, your child will explore and discover their natural surroundings through small group and individual play experiences that will prepare him/her for school. Wilma’s Little Darlins Daycare Childhood educators are engaged in children’s learning through observing, planning, and seeking opportunities to become a play partner and extend the play experiences.

Nutrition
Wilma’s Little Darlins Daycare’s full-day childcare program for children 12 months to 5 years of age offers a variety of nutritious breakfast, morning snacks, lunches, and afternoon snacks prepared by an on-site cook. Our menus follow the Texas State Food Program food guide to ensure your child receives a well-balanced meal.
We make mealtime fun as well as a learning experience by providing healthy meals and snacks. It is an important part of our educational models. Children eat all meals together using family-style seating.
